Description

This one-day colloquium focuses on Royal College of Music MS 1070, a music manuscript that belonged to Anne Boleyn and is associated with her time, as a child and teenager, at the courts of Margaret of Austria and Claude de France. Local and international scholars will present papers on the manuscript and on the musical, religious, political, and artistic cultures associated with these courts.
